  Safari & Software Update really slow to start under 10.4.3

  Safari is really slowing down for me – have done all the usual clearing of caches, resetting and done complete wipe & reinstall a couple of times. I have a drive with 10.3.9 on which I tried the other day and all the Internet and Safari applications were a lot faster than with Tiger. Exactly the same setup (Netgear router)

  As soon as the 10.4.3 update goes on, Safari hangs and often does not load the page. Have finally resorted to putting Internet Explorer on which works just fine.

  Am I missing something somewhere?
