  S16 Workflow question Redux

  Here’s the plan:

  Shoot S16
  Telecine all processed film best lite to DVCPRO HD
  Sync Sound
  Cut killer trailer in FCP in DVCPRO HD
  try and raise more money 🙂
  Finish ‘Offline’ in DVCPRO HD with desktop grading, VFX and Compositing
  If at this point, the money runs out, Finish here by mastering to DVD from DVCPRO HD master with desktop VFX. Does finishing here basically waste S16 acqusition?

  If more money comes in I continue onto…

  Get an HD Scan
  Digitally Grade
  ADD VFX/Titles
  Sound Mix
  Pump out D5
  Rock out a DVD

  Good idea? Cost effective? Any overkill (DVCPRO HD?)
