S-Video not working correct
I can’t get the S-video input on my system to work correctly? I’ve only used Component & Composite for 8 yrs! So, the first time I try S-video, All I get is B&W from any source tried. What am I missing?

You are missing the color information, most likely because of a connection problem. Either your S-Video cable has a bent (or missing) pin, or your connection cable between your breakout box and your P6000 board. It also could be something on the board itself but that

I seem to remember having a problem getting color info from old 3/4 decks.
I think I was using the JVC 7pin to 4 pin connection.
Could only get the composite info from those decks.

It must be something in the breakout box or it’s cable. I’ve tried a couple of S cables and they all work fine. Oh, well… guess I should have checked that out 8 years ago! I thought it might be something SW related.
