S-video in to P2 card?
Today I tried to transfer something from a Beta SP using the S-video out to the HVX camera. I tried to do it to the P2 card but I could not get that to work. It would only record to a Mini-DV tape. Can you or can’t you record in through the S-video in and go to the P2 card?
My settings were 480 60i

What setting was the back switch set to? (I’m not sure at all about this, but it seems like it might need to be set to the P2 setting as opposed to the TAPE setting.)

That is how I had it to start, the P2 setting. It worked fine when I switched it to tape but coming from a Beta SP I wanted to come in at DVCpro 50. I could not get it to work. Perhaps P2 is not designed for s-video in.
