  This documentary on the animator blew me away. It’s airing on Sundance Channel.
  40 years ago, the dude was doing animation that leaves what we do now in the dust.
  He did it all by hand, and it gets you right in the solar plexis. His morphs are astonishing.
  The guy got into coke and booze, and that finished him off. Today he’s begging in the streets.
  When you see how detailed his work is, you can understand how he cracked.
  In the story, another animator does a wicked tribute to him that turns him into a skeletal puppet.. Larkin was upset when he saw it.
