Rwndering text
FCP wont render text if I have added a motion effect such as changing the opacity. If I remove the motion effect it will render fine. There is no error message, it just wont do it. Any ideas? Thanks!

What are your sequence settings, and what is the format of your source material?

Thanks for responding, Jerry. The source material is still photos. Sequence settings are: pixel aspect ratio: square; field dominance: none; QuickTime: h.264. Thanks again!

Your problem is H.264. FCP doesn’t support it. Put the original stills (JPEG, Whatever) in a ProRes sequence.
