    Hi gang, quick question:

I’m trying to install Xpress Pro on an old single processor 867 G4 wtih 1 gig of RAM. I believe it’s a graphite front machine. It’s actually an old Media Composer system, running os 9.2.2, that I’m trying to change into a system that will read firewire drives as media drives. The old Media Composer will only recognize SCSI drives as media. Is this a worthwhile pursuit? Is there some kind of backdoor way to get firewire drives to read as media on the old system, and/or is it pointless to try to sidegrade that system into running Xpress? Or is there an extremely cheap form of SCSI storage that I don’t know about?

    Thanks!
    Tim
