January 3, 2006 at 2:03 amThe FCP license only allows the installation of the product on one machine at a time. Within the terms of the license you have to uninstall it from the desktop before installing it on the laptop or vice versa.
All the best,
Tom

January 3, 2006 at 3:38 pmWhen you install it on both (which you’re not allowed to do) and they’re connected to a network, it will close the program
if you try to have FCP open on both at the same time. If you *happen* to have it on both
machines, and you don’t register it with Apple, and you don’t have it open on both when
connected, you get a message every 5 times you open the program, asking you to register it
(at least, that’s what I’ve read).
