  • Running egg yolk!!

    Hi guys,

Please see the attached screen grab. I have an egg character in a motorcycle helmet (don’t ask!) which gets cracked on the head by the spoon.

I then want yolk to run down the eggs face underneath the helmet. Im just wondering what the best approach is to create a running yolk effect within C4D?

Any help or pointers to tutorials to help me achieve this would be most appreciated.

    Many thanks

    Scott

The easiest try would be using soft bodies. Check this example at the 24s mark and at the end you got something that resembles egg yolk. It should be a quick set up. If its far from what you want you’ll have to use fluid simulatores that have some viscosity.

Thanks for this Cassius. I’ll look into it. I only really need for the yolk to run down the face of the egg though so doesn’t need to come into contact with another object. I’m guessing the fluid simulator would be best for this? Do you know if fluid simulators built into to R17 Studio version?
Sorry for the dumb sounding questions just very new to C4D!
    Thanks again
