  • Run script error “error expected” adobe premiere 2019

Posted by Zach Sheram on June 4, 2019 at 3:20 am

I just built a new PC and downloaded a new version of premiere onto it, but when I load it an error message
“Run script error” followed by “Expected” pops up. I then have to click “ok” several times and then it goes away. The other issue is that during playback my footage has a strange glitching effect when the subject on camera moves too quickly. I did not see this issue on my old computer when reviewing footage.

    Does anyone have any suggestions?

Without a lot more detail on your computer build, no one can do anything but make wild, meaningless guesses.

    System:
    Dell Precision T7600 (x2)
    Win 7 64-bit
    32GB RAM
Adobe CC 2017.1 (as of 8/2017)
    256GB SSD system drive
4 internal media drives RAID 5
Typically cutting short form from UHD MP4, HD MP4, and HD P2 MXF.

My new build consists of a:

    ~EVGA 550 B3 (Modular Power Supply)
    ~AMD Ryzen 7 1700 Processor (CPU)
    ~Corsair LPX 32GB (2x16GB) 3200MHz C16 DDR4 DRAM (Memory Kit)
~Gigabyte Radeon RX 580 Gaming 8GB Graphic Card
    ~Crossfire ATX Motherboard (B450-A PRO)

And right now I have my 4k Hisense Smart Tv hooked up as a temporary monitor
