Has anyone heard of running multiple After Effects applications, all at the same time, on the same computer? Is this possible for MAC? Just curious if anyone has tried this.

    Thanks guys.

    Hi Ryan,

Well sort of. More like taking advantage of AEs ability to
launch instances of itself in the background to be assigned
    to multiple processors when rendering.

Here is a script that will allow you to assign a project
to render in the BG while you continue working in AE.

Ryan, why would you do this?

    Hey guys,

Well lets say for example I have 3 separate projects to work on, but the final render takes maybe an hour or more to render. The background renderer helps render within the same project, but what if I have people waiting for their project, which may be different? I guess the objective would be to render, and work on 2 different projects at the same time. Maybe there is a better work flow that I am not utilizing.

    Thanks for the responds.
