    Hi,

Is there any way to add a right-to-left language like Arabic with the Title Designer in Adobe Premiere Pro 2?

I need to use it for subtitling, but when I copy and paste from another document the text is reversed so it becomes left-to-right….

    Thanks!

    /Daniel

what if you make each subtitle in Photoshop and save as a PSD over a transparent background?

Yeah, I tried that too. But I can’t get it to be right-to-left in Photoshop either… I suppose I need the ME version for that. And I don’t read Arabic myself, I just need to copy and paste.

Have you tried just going from notepad?

Arabic is one of the hardest one to work with if you don’t have a multilangual version. I would go to proz.com and see if a translator there could put the whole thing in Photoshop or Illustrator for you. Of course, make sure you ask for the fonts as well.

For hebrew there is a free program. Once installed, if you highlight hebrew text and press F6 it corrects the direction. It works within premiere great. The problem is that installation and menues are in hebrew. Also I don’t know if it will work for any right-to-left language or just hebrew.
I tried googling around a bit but couldn’t find a similar program for arabic, but maybe there is…
In any case here is the link for the hebrew one:
