    Hello,

I’m currently putting sub-titles into a film in Final cut Pro 6.

I need to be able to play back smoothly to see if the sub-titles are timed right. I’m on unlimited RT, most of the sub-titles playback ok and have that green line over them, but at some point the sub-titles have the orange line over them and won’t play smoothly.

I haven’t got drop shadow or anything else on these titles, they’re exactly the same as the green lined ones. In fact when I copy a green lined title to an area where it’s orange, it goes orange as well.

The only thing I have under the titles, is one HDV clip of the entire film, so it doesn’t make sense that some sub-titles will have green and others orange.

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks

Not sure why the different colors, but lower the playback quality in that same RT menu.. see if just softening the picture will do the trick for you.
