OK. I have looked at every conceivable post here and have tried (to the best of my ability) to do the steps listed in said posts and still…nothing. I am getting the error simply by pressing the space bar on the video in my timeline or by moving the cursor. I have run DiskWarrior , trashed prefs, cleaned up (created space) on the drive that I’m using (4 Terabyte RAID system) to no avail. Here are my system specs:
    MAC OS 10.4
    4 x 2.5 GHz PowerPc G5
    6.5 GB DDR2 SD RAM
    FCP 6.0.5

What i can’t figure out is the “limit RT bandwith in User Preferences”
Am i sunk here or what?

P.S. the system has KONA on it.

What type of footage are you working with? What hard drive is it stored on?

Uncompressed (captured directly onto hard drive). I actually had to go into Audio/Video Settings and change my Presets, which somehow knocked the thing back into working condition. Thanks!

if your easy setup or viewing settings are wrong it can cause that.

    looks like you fixed it.
