    Hello-

    Anybody ever have the RS-422 go bad on an IO? Just went to plug in a beta deck and got the “No Communication” in FCP. Settings are set to IO RS-422. Tried different cables and also another machine to no avail.

    Any thoughts?

    1) is VTR in REMOTE ???

    2) go to Audio/Video settings – in 4th tab (VTR Control), make sure that Sony RS422 is selected, and not DV
