Sounds like you have a window touching your edit monitor. Its especially difficult to see when you have a dual monitor setup. Make sure you have no windows touching the edit / source monitors.

Thanks alot. That seems to have overcome the problem. I wonder why the windows aren’t supposed to touch?

It has to do with refresh rates and how hard the video card is working to display full motion video.

Thats as technical as I get….
