Does this camera support PAL DV and NTSC DV (and 24/25/30fps 720p) in the one unit or is this a feature missing from this model compared to the Sony?

“This camera’s performance is expected to surpass all other broadcast cameras in its price range” &
“Data is recorded in the MPEG-2 format with full broadcast resolution and quality”
Please define “full broadcast resolution and quality”. (ie is that 4:2:2 50Mbps?) Ceratinly I don’t think anyone would consider standard HDV specs “full broadcast resolution and quality”. You must be aware of the Panasonic DVX200 which will be a competing model in the price range, and is 4:2:2 so can JVC justify the ‘surpass’ statement unless this camera is at least equal to 4:2:2?

I’m not up with battery mount options. My DV500 has Sony’s V-Mount so I have VMount batteries. Will I be able to use these on this camera? (or ONLY AB?)

Power consumption of this camera (without HDD unit).
Pwer consumption of HDD unit (or is it powered seperatly)?

    Sensitivity?

Noise Quality of gain? (as clean as the Z1?)

NLE support for ProHD is comming from who?

HDD Unit: Will this mount like the 5100’s HDD or will it just hang on a cable. Viewfinder status?
