Royalty free music source?
Posted by Jeff Waldrop on December 9, 2013 at 9:37 pmWhere can I find a good price for some royalty free music and sound effects for my videos. They are more for personal distribution. I got a nasty note after I uploaded a video with music from personal music lib.

You’re lucky you didn’t get a lawsuit! Pond5 is a very good, very affordable source for music and sound fx. If you happen to own Audition, you can download a free, extensive sound effects and music library as well. There are also loads of free sources for music and sound fx, some good, some bad. Just do a search for either open source music or free music, or check out some of the sites here:

December 10, 2013 at 9:49 amSure. Thanks for the info on Pond 5. I think that’s what I am looking for.
The issue I mentioned was three minutes of my vacation that I set to some light piano music and intended to share with friends and family on FB. I rather pay a few dollars for a piece of music and not deal with hassle.
Thanks again,
Jeff
