Roundtrip to DaVinci with 3D Timeline (S3D Files)
Has anyone tried to roundtrip a 3D sequence into the DaVinci? I did some initial tests and found it completely broken. Having finished numerous 3D projects in the DaVinci, I did not expect the DaVinci to recognize S3D files. Since S3D files are merely pointers, I thought individual left eye/right eye AAF’s might work. So, I set the Avid to Left Eye in the format tab, exported a left eye AAF, then did the same with the right eye. I then imported them in the DaVinci but the timelines were a mess. I could only assume that the individual left eye/right eye AAF’s were the cause of the problem.
Anyway, I was just wondering if anyone has had better success.
