  Round-Tripping Sequences to Adobe Audition

  So, I have a sequence whose audio I edited in Adobe Audition, using Edit → Edit in Adobe Audition → Sequence. It worked great; I was able to remove clicks and do some noise removal and other destructive things. I noticed that the clips that were brought into Audition were shorter “subclips” of the entire audio file.

  How do I get this back to Premiere? I saved the sequence and all the audio files in Audition (it made me specify a location, so I just used its default suggestion: a folder in my project folder called Adobe Audition Interchange). I then closed Audition and went back to Premiere. Nothing changed; I still had all the unedited audio. I feel like I’m missing something stupid. It should just update itself, right? I shouldn’t have to delete all my audio and reimport anything, right?
