Round tripping FCP MOTION keeping markers
I’d like to round trop a group of videos and pictures to Motion form FCP which im planning to make it move to the beat of the music, however my markers aren’t transferring when i send? Am i missing something, I know it’s supposed to. Im pretty new to FCP, so I apprieciate any help i can get.
Oh and im currently working around the problem by breaking up the animation into individual sequences and exporting them as motion projects, this gives me the markers (that i have to remake in the sequence) but it isnt connected which I’d prefer it to be.

That is very weird, yes the marker should round trip just fine. You may want to make sure you are on the newest version of FCP or trash your preferences. Hope this helps.

tried that and nothing still unfortunately. I mean I think im doing it right, make markers at the top of the time line, then select the clips i’d like to send to motion, check the options for round tripping and that should be it? right?

It sounds like you are using sequence markers rather than clip markers. Have you tried clip markers?
