Round trip woes..
As part of my roundtrip with premier I start with a DaVinci grade – premier edit – xml from premier to DaVinci – final grade – STUCK! I need to get these renders back inlace of the non-rendered files.
I’ve read about exporting an XML from DaVinci at this stage of the graded material, however all that does is link to my original material without using the rendered grades.
Can someone tell me where I’m going wrong please?
As a side note I’m unable to import that DaVinci xml into premier, there’s an issue at current stating the xml file is damaged so I export an fcp version to fcp X. That still does not link to my graded renders.

Yep, just graded in 10.0.1, exported new XML for the roundtrip and upon opening it in FCP7 only 5 or 6 shots came in, the rest of the timeline, something like 30 shots nowhere to be found…
