Does anyone else notice that when applying roughen edges to a layer in the “roughen” mode you often get areas painted in a solid color rather than the image you’re roughening?

This also happens when roughening after a mask.

    Any solutions?

I notice something else; Roughen edge doesn’t support camera or depth of field.
so it needs to be pre-comped without “collapse transformation” checked on.

adding cc composite after the roughen edges effect will likely get the original image/texture back.
