i got a project someone did a rough cut in H264. of course it’s dropping frames. they didnot convert before editing.
What is the safest and easiest way to convert both the rough cut and the dailies to apple prores.

    needs to be error free.
    thanks

It won’t override anything. It will make new files with the compression you choose. And yes, you can recompress to the same drive.
