Hi! Very new to Ppro, and was wondering if it has rotoscoping features before i start screwing with it. If it doesnt can someone point me toward a good piece of s-ware with rotoscoping tools? Thanks for the help guys.

Rotoscoping is best done in a compositor, PPro has poor masks compared to just about any compositor. I like Fusion better than After Effects for masking and I think combustion is pretty good at it. Shake is always a good choice for Macintosh.

What type of rotoscoping are you doing?

May I jump in and ask what rotoscoping is?

Rotoscoping can have a different definition depending on who you ask but it’s really a broad term used to paint (masks, paint, etc) on a frame by frame basis.
