RotoBrush- After Effects CS5.5
I’m working with the Rotobrush in After Effects 5.5 and having a couple issues.
My footage is extremely deteriorated when I import it into After Effects. Wen watching the clip in quicktime you can pull out details on the subjects face, but when in after effects you can hardly tell that there are people on the screen.
I do have a frame rate warning that the footage is 29.97 and it wants it in 59.94.
I’m working with interlaced footage that I haven’t separated fields on.
The footage is 720×480 29.97fps, the composition is 1920×1080 23.976fps.
Basically it’s all wrong.
But even before placing the footage into a composition or applying rotobrush the footage displays lowered quality. From just having it in After Effects.Secondly when I finish with the clip and have frozen the selection, add the comp to the render que and render, it gets a few frames in and then the mask completely changes. It displays correctly in the comp both before and after the render but the render is completely different.
Any help or opinions would be greatly appreciated.
