Hi there I’m having modeling problems.

I have an editable cube and when I select point, polygon or edge with the rotation tool it drastically snaps the object in to an undesired shape.

Is this the new snap to Y grid or is the computer I’m using having a bad day.

How do I get to the snap to Y grid dialog box to turn it off.

Please could some one help as I’m tearing my hair out here.

    Thanks, Martyn.

You might have snapping turned on, but even if you do, just selecting a point/edge/poly shouldn’t cause it to snap. You can access the snap settings by hitting the p key, or by clicking on the rotate tool and looking in the tool properties (snap settings tab).
