Rotation property
Long time reader, first time poster!
I have a quick question about the rotation property of a layer.
Is it possible to use an expression to ignore the number of rotations and return values constrained between 0-360?
For example, if the actual rotation value is 720 or 1260 etc., I would like to convert it to 360.

Just use the modulus operator (%):
newValue = yourRotationValue%360;

Word of warning:
If you’re applying this to a layer that has motion blur enabled when the layer rotates beyond the 0-360 degree range it will snap back around 360 degrees across one frame and you’ll get a big blurry spin on that frame.

Well, turns out I lied 🙂 I’ve run into problems like this with other similar expressions. In this case it looks like there is no problem with this expression and motion blur.
