Rotating round 3d invigorator
hi there,
have created a dvd case and layer mapped the cover designs over the front, back and sides.
and I am now trying to rotate round this in the x axis – using a composition camera…but I am struggling massively.
additionally I want to keep the 3d case in the left hand side of the screen – as i have some 2 d text I want to show on the right hand side.
please oh please can someone help – this has sent me mental for the past 2 days.

dont worry….have worked it out…..animated the dvd case using the x dimension in the sets – so i am actally rotating the object with a static camera rather than the camera round the object.

If in the future you find that you want to rotate the camera, rather then the object(say you have multiple objects), easy solution.
Create a null object and turn on it’s 3d property, then parent the camera to the null. Now just rotate the null and the camera will rotate around it.
