Rotating an image
This may seem like a crazy question, but here goes. I have a client’s advertisement card that has 2 sides.
One the first side is their logo and some images, and on the second side is some bullet points.
I’d like to do an old flip from one side of the card to the other. Like we used to do with a Digital effects generator, where we had a A side and a B side.
How can I do this in FCPX? Is there a plug in I need to buy?

There are numerous plugins that can handle the 3D rotation, you could even make your own in Motion faulty quickly. The two I have installed are “Andy’s Better 3D” and “Bretts 3D”. They don’t do a two sided rotation but you just rotate to 90º where the image is invisible, then swap images and continue.

Another vote here for ‘Andy’s Better 3d” but I also use “simple 3d”.
Also, you can always do this kind of thing in Apple Motion as well. I think there might even be a preset for it with drop zones, but if there isn’t you can make one in a hurry, it’s not complicated.
