rotate/spin
This should be so simple but I’m having a problem.
I want to do the famous ‘spinning newspaper headline.” I’m using my video track (a headline that I’ve cropped in boris red) as the spinning object. I’m applying the “rotate” parameter because rotate does the move like theh spinning newspaper. I want it to start small and grow while it spins – clockwise. I want it to spin at least 30 times. But it’s bouncing around and very jerky.K

I’m not exactly sure about spinning newspaper headline effect. But it sounds like you are trying to Rotate and Scale the object. It may be better to reset the track and start from scratch. Keep in mind that the Scale will work from the center of the object unless you are using “Scale Around Pivot” checkbox in the Pivot Tab which is available in the latest versions of our software. That will allow you to scale and rotate around the same arbitrary points.
Now I think I know the effect you are after.
