Ok, this may sound mad, but…

    VP, 10c.

I open up a new vegas project, add a video rack and place on still image on this tracg.

I want it to spin 6 times over 2 seconds, so in pan/crop add a key frame at the 2 second mark, key in a rotation of 2160 (360 * 6), preview it or render, and it does not rotate 6 times. In fact, entering an angle of 2160 end up showing the image crooked. Even entering 90 in the angle shows up at about 92 or 92 – the field says 90 but on the screen I can see it not at 90…

I have quit/restarted VP and it does it every time…

Have I gone mad? Is anybody else having issues entering angles of rotation in pan/crop and they show up incorrect?

It does the same in track motion, except it will not accept an angle > 1800 – any values entered > 1800 get changed to 1800.

It also does it in preview or render…

Just wanted to check before I make sure the world is still rotating…

    Thanks.

Ok, after much searching and leaving things until fresh this morning I found out what it is.

if ‘quantize to frames’ is not set, rotation produced weird angles. I guess this is due to the fact that the rotation angle is calculated on the basis of frame boundaries, and so i am seeing things ‘in-between’ frames… I only hope that is the case…
