Does anyone know how to go about simulating a picture to look like it grows from the center like 2 halfs of a mirror giving it that rorschach test look? Hope that made sense…. or how about this, has anyone scene the “crazy” music video by Gnarls Barkley, it looks like that.
    Thanks

    Hi,

It looks on first glance that someone has actually filmed the paint splatting on a background. Then depending on what software they have used, have made it into a matte. Not sure if there is some sort of setting, but maybe you could bring the footage into motion and mask it down the middle, then duplicate it and flip it.

    grafx that flow!

Create some sort of animating shape and apply the DISTORT > MIRROR filter. You can also control the angle of reflection but the default is a vertical mirror through the center.
