Activity Forums Adobe Illustrator Rope like brush?

    Hey. I am creating a metalic western belt buckle that has a rope motif around the edge. Basically an oval shape (path) that ideally would be ‘stroked’ with a skewed rounded rectangles- like a rope texture just simple black and white.

    I believe you can do that right in Illustrator. You just pick a style you’d like your frame to be stroked with. I think there’s a rope in there.

    Thanks Brad for the response.
    What I ended up doing was creating a custom brush in Illustrator,
    wow was it an easy way to go!
