Rookie to Adobe premiere…
Hello, I’m newb on Adobe premiere installed 2 days ago or so. Got a little project I’m gonna edit, some of my couple of friends made a movie and I’m gonna set up evrything togheter into a whole movie. Anyway, I just wonder if there is good new starter tutorial, I completed adobe’s tutorial and now wanna learn for a example, stop a clip and then play after that (like freeze in the clip), another thing I wanna know, is to put two clips that plays at the same time.

To freeze a clip, position the CTI at the frame you want to freeze and export a still image (File>Export>Frame). Then right click on the still in the Project window and choose Insert. This will insert a 5 second freeze at the CTI. Adjust as needed.
To play 2 clips side by side, put one on V1 and the other on V2. Select onee clip and click on the word Motion in the Effects Controls palette and resize and reposition the clip in the Program window. Repeat for the other clip.

Alright, thanks for those answers. I’m now done with the movie and when I exported it said it will take 32 minutes!! Is there no chance I can skip this by choosing abit lower quality? I’m using 9 .mov clips + titles and the size of the .mov clips are 4,00mb each. Will that really take 34 minutes? Maybe I should choose another codec in Export Settings?
