    Rode smartlav not recognized

    I got a Rode Smartlav about six months ago and sometime in the past month my Galaxy S4 quit recognizing it. An acquaintance said her’s is recording a hissing sound (she is an iPhone user).

    Wondering if anyone else has issues with it. It does still work with one of my cameras with that mike input.

    So I’m figuring either a software update on the phone or a bad input on the phone.

    Comments or suggestions?
