rocstor storage system
Hello Cow team,
I cant find a forum for storage / hard drive questions.
Probably because Ive been staring at a screen too long today.
BUT
I do would like to know what folks experiences have been with;the R340XX-01 ROCSTOR 4 BAY STORAGE USB2/FW/FW800/ESAT
Storage system.
I am being recommended it (for speed and price reasons) but am unsure as it is a new product to me and this project is being edited in a very remote location….. if the drives can’t handle a lot of hard work on a very big series and decide to let me know about it – and I am in the middle of nowhere…
So Rocstor? Reliable Workhorse? Good Bad Ugly?
Please advise.

Hello Jenny,
Unfortunately, we have never heard of Rocstor. We do not have any opinion on them at all because we do not know them, their history, nor a single customer that uses them. That leaves us in the dark on the subject.

I am flattered, I think. But seriously, you have to look elsewhere for someone who’s a rockstar, David. Rockstars go gold and platinum, while most of my life copper and silver were the metals with whom I was most acquainted.
