Rising numbers….

Quick idea to challenge some of you guys:
I’m editing a TV programme which has a powerboat speed run in it. What I need to do is have the speed rising from the start of the run until the end, but not at a consistent rate. ie It needs to go up to a certain point, maybe drop off a bit, then rise a bit more etc….
I can’t find a plugin that does this. And as the speed run is over about 30 secs, it will be a bit laborious to go through every single frame and change the numbers. But I’m thinking this may be the only way….!
If any of you guys out there have any ideas for a cunning way round this, then your thoughts would be greatly appreciated. Thanks! 🙂
