    Ripple Delete Greyed Out

    Since I found no answers regarding this issue in previous posts, I want to post it anew.

    My previously working right click, Ripple Delete selction tool is now greyed out and will not return. Also, the Ripple Delete Tool itself, when selected, is not functioning. Track Lock is not the issue. I can find no Project or Preferences settings which will permit me to reset this tool to working status. Naturally, this is an extremely frustrating problem. I would appreciate any help.

    Have you tried to hold down the shift key when starting premiere and keeping down till the project window appears, this resets the Plug-in Cache file

    Check the audio tracks for audioclips preventing you from ripple deleting.

    Selecting audio worked for me.
