August 25, 2014 at 5:27 pmHi,
I lost all the edits from a project I completed. I need to rip the blu-ray copy of the film so I can put it back into FCPX for more editing. I would like to convert the blu-ray copy to Apple Pro Res. I’m trying to find a FREE way to rip and convert the film. Thanks!!

August 25, 2014 at 5:52 pmThanks, I’m looking at MPEG Stramclip right now. I’ve used this to convert footage in the past, but I’m not sure how to rip a blu-ray with it.

August 25, 2014 at 8:51 pmHaving trouble with Streamclip so I tried to simply copy the files from the blu-ray onto my hard drive to see if it will work from there. Everytime the main m2ts file tries to copy my external blu-ray(LG be14nu40) is ejected from Finder and I have to turn it off and on again to get it to read it.
