Ripping Non-protected Blu-ray for editing in Final Cut Pro X
Hi,
I lost all the edits from a project I completed. I need to rip the blu-ray copy of the film so I can put it back into FCPX for more editing. I would like to convert the blu-ray copy to Apple Pro Res. I’m trying to find a FREE way to rip and convert the film.Thanks!!

mpeg streamclip didn’t work for this?

Thanks, I’m looking at MPEG Stramclip right now. I’ve used this to convert footage in the past, but I’m not sure how to rip a blu-ray with it.

Having trouble with Streamclip so I tried to simply copy the files from the blu-ray onto my hard drive to see if it will work from there. Everytime the main m2ts file tries to copy my external blu-ray(LG be14nu40) is ejected from Finder and I have to turn it off and on again to get it to read it.
