I have a Frezzi micro fill dimmer on my P Agdvx100a. It’s a beautiful light and the shot looks great except for the light creates obvious rings when the subject is by a wall or in a hallway. When I see it, I try to close in on the subject to crop out the background, but sometimes this isnt possible.
What can I do, or more importantly, what do you all do?
    Thank you,
    Kat

Add a diffusion filter (I use a square of diffusion or “spun” light “gel”) over the front of the light.

    Another idea…

If the ceiling is not too high or the distance too great, bounce the light off the ceiling.
