Hi. I am relatively new to C4D, and I am experimenting with rigid body dynamics. In my test, I am dropping a few boxes onto a floor. The dynamics are working well, but for some reason the corner of one of the boxes keeps breaking through the floor. I’ve increased the density of both the floor mesh and the mesh on the boxes, but I’ve had limited success in correcting this problem. I’d love some pointers if anyone is familiar with this issue. Thanks!

with boxes and floor try using Box collision not full, more of a speed thing – and in the Solver Object try different Integration Methods and/or increasing Oversampling and Subsampling

Thanks, Brian. Doing what you suggested does seem to help, though I am finding that dynamics are by no means an exact science. I guess that’s why they’re… dynamic.
