    Hi,

I don’t really know what search string to use, in order to find an answer to my question. So I’m just gonna ask it here.

When I’m shooting on a 5D or 7D, my footage looks good. But when I send an edit into Color to do grading, I only see a reference of the shadows in the scopes. I don’t tread the footage in FCP, before I send it over to Color. Am I using wrong settings in the camera?

I set it up to shoot video. I looked up some info on how to do that. Is it maybe my iris? Do I shoot with to much contrast?

    Thanks in advance!
