hi- i have to animate some images for a video, but the picture quality im getting is not good enough since it has to go on a plasma screen. the pictures’ resolution is good enough ( 300 dpi ) so there must be something wrong with the formats and settings im using. could anyone direct me as to which format the pictures should be in ( tiff, png etc. ) and which are the best sequence and export settings? i would really appreciate the advice, kind of desperate and short of time!
    thank you, good cow folks

We use the Photo-JPEG codec to preview the animations in real-time when working with animation for the web or Flash. The DV codec stinks for this kind of work. For final render we change the sequence to the Animation codec, render, and export a self-contained QuickTime movie using the Animation codec. Record or compress to the proper playback format and you will hopefully see satisfactory results.

    Hope this helps,

Stills for video should always be 72 dpi, shouldn’t they?
    Frame size can vary, though.
