Rigging a model from another 3d program
I have a model, and I noticed after I bought it, that it’s not in C4D format. It’s a max file for 3DS max.
This model is a robot.
I have the intention of adding bones in C4D, however I am fairly new to C4D and 3d in general.Main Question: The foot of this robot has hydraulics which move with the foot, kind of like a suspension system. Two cylinders, and one slides into the other cylinder. What is the best way to get the hydraulics to work like that, and have them attached to the foot so they move accordingly, but not passed a certain point of the joints.
Can this all be done just with bones?Thanks
