    Hi all,

first time on this forum. I read it allot though but couldn’t find a solution for my problem.

I have recently created a new project using AE CC and particular (trapcode). It al went pretty smooth untill somewhere along the line the renderingtime decreased immensely. I am now rendering this project (tiff sequence, errorlogs disables) but it takes +/-100 hours!!!!

I’m trying to be patient but is there any way you can give me some tips?

    My system

    i5 2,7 CPU
    GTX 570 NVidia
    16gb RAM, DDR 1600
    +100gb free space on HD

I have tried multiple multi-processing settings / ram settings. Nothing seems to matter. When I render a H.264 (Quicktime) it will give an error message around the time particular jumps in the comp.

I can imagine the information given was perhaps not sufficient, so if you have any additional questions please ask! (1 tiff added for reference)

Thank you so much in advance!

How many particles do you have per frame in the system? How long is your project? What other effects are you using?

What are your memory and multiprocessing settings?

Have you tried rendering to a format other than H.264?

Thanks for replying, I found the issue (after buying extra RAM :P)
One of the png files I used was about 1gb… which was troughout the whole comp (5min) 😛

Egads, that’s a large PNG file.

    Glad you got it sorted.
