So, I have a very simple dynamics test I am trying to do in Cinema and it is just not happening.
I have a 5 plains that I am using to build out a room and a sphere inside that room that I am trying to drop in the room and let gravity take effect, via the Ridged Body Tag.

What keeps happening is that Cinema keeps automatically both my room and my sphere as static ridged bodies, so nothing happens. Both the room and the sphere stay floating in space.

I am sure I am missing something simple.

I am using version 11.5. I am sure that has something to do with it.

Place your sphere in a cloner object. Reduce the number of clones to 1 (I think the phrase it uses is itterate)than the dynamic tag will automatically change to a non-static rigid body.

    cool.
    that worked.
    thanks!

why is that you have to place the primitive in a cloner object for it to work?
    seems strange to me.

I’m not sure of the technicalities of it, however, dynamics is part of the mograph section. If a primitive is not in a cloner object, it does not have all the capabilities that mograph has (rigid body tags)

Mograph text does not need to be in a cloner, mograph text is already mograph.

lol that is as good of an explanation I can give.
