I am making changes to a project that another animator created. I am wondering if there might be some shortcuts I am unaware of?

1 – There are a number of comps I have to change. I need to change the video and text content and the length of the comps. Each comp has a number of nested comps. Is there an easy way to change the length of all the comps with in the project at once or must I dig through, find all of the related comps and change them individually? People do amazing things with scripts? Is there one that does this?

2 – The project has a number of scenes, each scene is in it’s own folder within the project. I need to add more scenes to the main project. I thought that all I had to do was copy a folder, then change the content in that folder and I would have a new scene. But when I copy the folder, the text, video, etc is still linked to the old folder contents? I find that weird? Is there a way to make copied folders link the material in the new folder?

    Thanks for any help.

    Thanks,
