Reversing A Clip in CS4 problems
HI,
I’m having trouble with Premiere Pro CS4. I’m trying to reverse a clip (play a clip backwards) but the clip just plays forwards. I’ve tried the Speed/Duration steps by checking reverse clip but that doesn’t seem to work.
I’ve also tried the Time Remapping steps posted at help.adobe.com.
but that just plays the clip normally also.
Am I missing something?

I should qualify that. I’m running a BMD HD capture card, which may have something to do with it.

It’s a bug in CS4. The workaround is setting the clip speed at something other than 100% to get reverse and time remapping to work. I set mine at 99.9% or whatever speed you wish. I’m hopeful the upcoming PP CS4 update will correct those issues.

Thanks for the info, Bill. Your solution of changing the speed to 99.9% worked like a charm. I hope this bug gets fixed in a future update also.
