Reversed cut out title
How would I create a title where I had large letters that were cut out of a colored foreground thus allowing you to see the video in the background? I suppose that one could then use track motion on this clip & zoom through a letter into your video.

Under Properties in the Text Generator, drag the triangle under Text Colour to the bottom, or change the A value to 0 (same thing). This will make the text transparent, and as you say you can zoom through using Pan Crop or Track Motion.
